These tests showed the presence of lard and other non-permitted substances in the ghee. AR Dairy Foods, also known as A R Dairy Food Pvt Ltd, was supplying the ghee at the time. Following these results, TTD has halted the supply from this contractor and is in the process of blacklisting them.

In response to these allegations, AR Dairy Foods has defended its product, claiming that the ghee they supplied met all the required quality standards and had been certified by accredited labs. The company stated that only a small percentage of the ghee used in the preparation of the laddus came from their supplies. They have further added that their ghee passed quality control tests before being delivered to the temple.
Political Stand
The controversy has taken on a political dimension as well, with the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) denying any wrongdoing and accusing Chandrababu Naidu of using the issue to divert attention away from other political matters. They claim the allegations are part of a political vendetta aimed at undermining the credibility of the current administration.
Several political leaders, including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Pawan Kalyan, have also weighed in on the controversy, calling for a thorough investigation to protect the sanctity of the Tirupati temple and the faith of millions of devotees worldwide.
